Nystatin is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, mouth, vagina, and intestinal tract. Fungal medicines will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.Nystatin comes as a tablet and a liquid to take by mouth; a soft lozenge (pastille) to be dissolved slowly in the mouth; a tablet and vaginal cream to be inserted into the vagina; and in powder, ointment, and cream to be applied to the skin.Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Do not chew or swallow lozenges whole. Continue to use nystatin lozenges (pastilles) for at least 48 hours after symptoms of your mouth infection disappear.Nystatin liquid usually is used three to five times a day for mouth infections and three times a day for intestinal infections. Shake the bottle well before each use to mix the medication evenly. If you are using liquid nystatin for a mouth infection, place half of the dose in each side of the mouth and hold it there or swish it throughout the mouth for several minutes before swallowing. Good oral hygiene, including proper care of dentures, is important for the cure of mouth infections.If you are using liquid nystatin for an intestinal infection, just swallow the liquid you measured from the dropper; there is no need to hold it or swish it in your mouth.Nystatin skin ointment or cream usually is used several times a day for skin infections. Wash the affected area thoroughly. Apply a small amount of cream or ointment and gently and thoroughly massage it into your skin. If you use this medication on your face, keep it out of your eyes.
Fluvoxamine is used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (bothersome thoughts that won't go away and the need to perform certain actions over and over). Fluvoxamine is in a class of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).Fluvoxamine comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken either once daily at bedtime or twice daily, once in the morning and once at bedtime. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.It may take several weeks or longer for you to feel the full benefit of fluvoxamine. Your doctor probably will decrease your dose gradually.Fluvoxamine is also used sometimes to treat depression. DEFLALONE Parkinson's disease is believed to be due to a lack of an important chemical (dopamine) in the brain. Levodopa is converted into dopamine in the brain, leading to the relief of Parkinson's disease symptoms. Both carbidopa and entacapone are given with levodopa to increase the amount of levodopa that is converted into dopamine.How to use SyncaponeTake this medication by mouth exactly as prescribed. Do not increase the dose or take more frequently without consulting your doctor.Do not split the tablets.It is best to avoid a high protein diet (decreases the amount of levodopa that your body takes in) during treatment, unless directed otherwise by your doctor. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.The dosage is based on your medical condition, previous drug therapy, response to therapy, and side effects if they occur.Some patients may experience a "wearing-off" (worsening of symptoms) before the next dose is due. An "on-off" effect might also occur, in which sudden short periods of stiffness occur. Raloxifene is also used to reduce the risk of invasive breast cancer in postmenopausal women who have osteoporosis or who are otherwise at risk of invasive breast cancer.
Used to relieve the pain, tenderness, inflammation (swelling), and stiffness caused by arthritis and gout. It also is used to relieve other pain, including menstrual pain and pain after surgery or childbirth. Metoprolol is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to prevent angina (chest pain) and to treat heart attacks. Extended-release (long-acting) metoprolol also is used in combination with other medications to treat heart failure. Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic solution is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye including conjunctivitis (pinkeye; infection of the membrane that covers the outside of the eyeball and the inside of the eyelid) and corneal ulcers (infection and loss of tissue in the clear front part of the eye). Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic ointment is used to treat conjunctivitis. Ciprofloxacin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It works by killing the bacteria that cause infection.Ophthalmic ciprofloxacin comes as a solution (eye drops) and an ointment to apply to the eyes. Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic solution is usually used often, between once every 15 minutes to once every 4 hours while awake for 7 to 14 days or longer. Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic ointment is usually applied 3 times a day for 2 days and then twice a day for 5 days. To help you remember to use ophthalmic ciprofloxacin, use it at around the same times every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use ophthalmic ciprofloxacin exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.You should expect your symptoms to improve during your treatment. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not go away or get worse, or if you develop other problems with your eyes during your treatment.Use ophthalmic ciprofloxacin until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. If you stop using ophthalmic ciprofloxacin too soon, your infection may not be completely cured and the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics.When you use ophthalmic ciprofloxacin, be careful not to let the tip of the bottle or tube touch your eye, fingers, face, or any surface. If the tip does touch another surface, bacteria may get into the eye ointment or drops. Using eye ointment or drops that are contaminated with bacteria may cause serious damage to the eye or loss of vision. If you think your eye ointment or drops have become contaminated, call your doctor or pharmacist.To use the eye drops or ointment, follow these steps: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Use a mirror or have someone else put the drops or ointment in your eye(s). Remove the protective cap from the bottle or tube. Make sure that the end of the dropper tip is not chipped or cracked. If you are using eye drops, hold the bottle with the tip down at all times to prevent drops from flowing back into the bottle and contaminating the medication inside. Lie down and gaze upward or tilt your head back. Holding the bottle or tube between your thumb and index finger, place the dropper tip or end of the tube as near as possible to your eyelid without touching it. Brace the remaining fingers of that hand against your cheek or nose. With the index finger of your other hand, pull the lower lid of the eye down to form a pocket. If you are using the eye drops, drop the prescribed number of drops into the pocket made by the lower lid and the eye. Placing drops on the surface of the eyeball can cause stinging. Then close your eye and press lightly against the lower lid with your finger for 2-3 minutes to keep the medication in the eye. Do not blink. Use a clean tissue to wipe any excess liquid from your cheek. If you are using the ointment, squeeze a thin ribbon of ointment into the pocket. Blink gently and close your eye for 1-2 minutes. Use a clean tissue to wipe excess ointment from your eyelids or eyelashes. If your doctor told you to use ciprofloxacin eye drops or ointment in both eyes, repeat steps 6-10 above for your other eye. Replace the cap on the tube or bottle and tighten it right away. Wash your hands again. Sparfloxacin belongs to the class of medicines known as antibiotics. It is used to treat bronchitis and pneumonia caused by bacterial infections.Sparfloxacin works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. However, this medicine will not work for colds, flu, or other virus infections.

Levothyroxine, a thyroid hormone, is used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. Without this hormone, the body cannot function properly, resulting in poor growth, slow speech, lack of energy, weight gain, hair loss, dry thick skin, and increased sensitivity to cold. When taken correctly, levothyroxine reverses these symptoms. Levothyroxine is also used to treat congenital hypothyroidism (cretinism) and goiter (enlarged thyroid gland).Levothyroxine comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken once a day on an empty stomach, 1/2 to 1 hour before breakfast . Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take levothyroxine exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.The tablets may get stuck in your throat or cause choking or gagging; therefore, the tablet should be taken with a full glass of water.If you are giving levothyroxine to an infant or child who cannot swallow the tablet, crush the tablet and mix it in 1 to 2 teaspoons of plain water. Give this mixture by spoon or dropper right away. Do not store this mixture. Only mix the crushed tablets with water. Do not mix with food or soybean infant formula.Your doctor will probably start you on a low dose of levothyroxine and gradually increase your dose. Itraconazole oral solution is used to treat yeast infections of the mouth and throat and suspected fungal infections in patients with fever and certain other signs of infection.Itraconazole is in a class of antifungals called triazoles. It works by slowing the growth of fungi that cause infection.
Inderal is a beta blocker. It works by slowing down the heart and decreasing the amount of blood it pumps out. This helps to decrease blood pressure, helps the heart pump more efficiently, and reduces the workload on the heart.HypertensionInderal is indicated in the management of hypertension. It may be used alone or used in combination with other antihypertensive agents, particularly a thiazide diuretic. Inderal is not indicated in the management of hypertensive emergencies.Angina Pectoris Due to Coronary AtherosclerosisInderal is indicated to decrease angina frequency and increase exercise tolerance in patients with angina pectoris.Atrial FibrillationInderal is indicated to control ventricular rate in patients with atrial fibrillation and a rapid ventricular response.Myocardial InfarctionInderal is indicated to reduce cardiovascular mortality in patients who have survived the acute phase of myocardial infarction and are clinically stable.MigraineInderal is indicated for the prophylaxis of common migraine headache. The scalp lotion should be applied directly from the squeeze bottle to the affected area.Clobetasol can be absorbed into your body if used in large amounts and can cause harmful effects. Cellmune is used for: Preventing organ rejection following kidney, liver, or heart transplants. This medicine is used in combination with other medicines. Mycophenolate (mye-koe-FEN-oh-late) belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressive agents. It is used to lower the body's natural immunity in patients who receive organ transplants. Cellmune is indicated for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal, cardiac or hepatic transplants. Cellmune should be used concomitantly with cyclosporine and corticosteroids. Memantine is used to treat moderate to severe confusion (dementia) related to Alzheimer's disease. It does not cure Alzheimer's disease, but it may improve memory, awareness, and the ability to perform daily functions. This medication works by blocking the action of a certain natural substance in the brain (glutamate) that is believed to be linked to symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.How to use Memantine OralTake this medication by mouth, with or without food. When you first start taking this medication, you will usually take it once daily. Your dose will be gradually increased to lower the risk of side effects. Once your dose increases to more than 5 milligrams per day, take this medication twice daily or as directed by your doctor.If you are taking memantine oral liquid, read the manufacturer's instruction sheet that comes with the bottle. Follow the directions exactly. Use the oral syringe that comes with the product to measure out your dose. Swallow the medication directly from the syringe. Do not mix it with water or other liquids.
